The state winners of the ATA (Australian Teleservices Association) National Awards were announced on Friday at the ATA State Teleservices Annual Awards Function at Crown Casino. Carlton & United Breweries won the "Greenfield Teleservices Centre of the Year, 2000" category.
The ATA Awards are Australia's premier recognition of excellence in the rapidly evolving Teleservices industry. There are a number of categories judged by the ATA and assisted by TARP Australasia and Deloitte Consulting.
Winning the State award allows CUB to move into the finals of the national awards, which will be judged by an international quality group, and announced in September.
'The recognition of CUB's new contact centre by its peers within the industry is an immense achievement' said CUB's Call Centre Manager Jennifer Speed. 'Our challenge is to embrace this centre of excellence and leverage our customer success to even greater heights through this new channel'.
The new contact centre has been built using the Brains Contact Centre software, supplied by local software company Marketing Technologies. A second Brains product, Brains CRM is also being used by CUB to provide local and remote sales force and contact centre representatives with an integrated view of the customer.
This is the second award that a Brains powered contact centre has won this month; the first being Toyota New Zealand's win of the Teleperformance Grand Prix Customer Service Award 2000 - winning both the Motor Industry Category and the overall Category for best customer service.
