 RD1.COM, Fonterra
Description: RD1.COM is NZ's second largest rural retailer.  A multi-channel, joint venture company owned by NZ Dairy Group, NZ Post and ASB bank.  It incorporates 28 AnchorMart bricks stores, a contact centre, Sales Reps and the newly created RD1.COM web store.
....for the first time a customer service agent, accounts clerk and marketing team can see the complete relationship a farmer has with RD1.COM, AnchorMart and NZ Dairy Group.  All orders, farm supplier, debtor information and contracts the farmer has with RD1.COM have been combined in one easily accessible place.  Understanding the complexity of the relationships they have with their customers now enables the company to revolutionise the customer focus of the entire business, from a traditional account-based operation to an individual focus on customers.

The integration between the Direct Marketing, Call Centre, Accounts Department and Point of Sale activities allows data to flow between these important customer contact points, enhancing RD1.COM's service across all of them.
