Christine has a unique background of being a highly skilled technical person, with considerable marketing and account management experience. 

Prior to forming Segar Associates, Christine was a consultant at Marketing Technologies, and prior to that she was a database marketer, programmer and IT Systems Manager at Pearson Davis.

She was one of the original authors of the Brains CRM product, as well as performing account management, consultancy and training roles.

Christine has recently received prestigious Gold and Silver NZDMA and Saatchi and Saatchi sponsored Nexus awards for her work with RD1 Ltd, which is the retail and online arm of Fonterra. She was also part of the database marketing team at Pearson Davis, that received the NZDMA Grand Prix award and Gold RSVP awards. Christine and Segar Associates Principal Andrew Segar are the only people to have received all three awards.

Christine was honored in 2002 and 2003 to be chosen by her industry peers as an NZDMA Nexus judge.

Christine is also a popular speaker on database marketing, speaking at University of Auckland Business Diploma courses from time to time.
